Starting the new year with new talent, Wunderman Thompson welcomes Steve Richards as UK Data Partner.
Steve joins from Dentsu Data Labs, where he held the role of Managing Director of Data, Consultancy and Solutions, overseeing a team of 30 across Carat, Vizeum, iProspect and DentsuX. Responsible for supporting UK and global clients with data insights, visualisation, ad tech consultancy and operations, Steve was pivotal in converting new business wins including H&M, Pandora and Kraft Heinz. During his time Steve led his team to win a Campaign Gold award for best Product Innovation of the Year and has been named in MediaWeek’s 30 under 30.
Reporting into David Lloyd, UK Head of Data & Insights, Steve will lead teams responsible for data strategy, insight and effectiveness. With a focus on developing and innovating Wunderman Thompson’s data product, developing new approaches to audience insight, effectiveness and technology across communications, commerce and customer experience. Utilising his in-depth knowledge working at media, consultancy and digital agencies, Steve will foster greater integration between data strategy, performance and media driving impact and value for Wunderman Thompson’s clients, including BT Group, Shell, Microsoft, Nestlé and The Macallan.
