Independent agency Fold7 has appointed Dillah Zakbah, as Deputy Executive Creative Director

Independent agency Fold7 has appointed Dillah Zakbah, as Deputy Executive Creative Director. Dillah, a winner of 26 Cannes Lions, joins from Uncommon Creative Studio where she has been Creative Director since March 2024.

Zakbah will join on the 30th September and will report to Fold7’s Executive Creative Director, Dave Billing. As part of a broad creative remit, she will run the Carlsberg Global and UK accounts.

On her joining Fold7, Billing said: “Bringing Dillah onboard is a fantastic coup for Fold7. Her formidable set of skills in Earned, Activation, Digital and Social, together with her unique and fascinating creative brain, will round out Fold7’s integrated offering and amplify our ability to build rock solid brands that roll with culture. Plus she brings invaluable karaoke chops that won’t go underutilised.”

With over 15 years of experience in agencies spanning Singapore, the US and the UK, Zakbah is a Creative Technologist by background, holding senior roles at Havas and BBH, prior to Uncommon. She has a portfolio of work for global brands such as Google, Nike, Netflix, and Disney–Marvel, and has won industry awards including 26 Cannes Lions, WARC, AD STARS, LIA, The Drum, TikTok Europe, D&AD and The Clios.

Zakbah’s award winning campaigns of note include ‘Stranger Things: Slice of the Upside Down’ for Netflix, ‘Superstar Galaxy with Charli XCX’ for Samsung, ‘Hyper Court’ for Nike, and “Prescription for Nature” for WWF.

On her joining, Zakbah adds: “I’m incredibly excited to join Fold7. I’ve long admired the humour, intelligence and salience of their work. I’m looking forward to combining my skill set with their big brand thinking, and creating culturally relevant work for their impressive client list.”

Beyond agency work, Dillah invests in female-led startups, mentors BIPOC creatives, and judges major award shows including Cannes Lions, Clio, and LIA.
