VCCP, the independent global challenger network, today announces the promotion of three of its outstanding planners, underscoring its commitment to recognising and nurturing talent from within, and strengthening its strategic leadership for the future.

The trio of promotions reflect the depth of strategic talent within VCCP: Stefan Siedentopf has been promoted to the newly created role of Deputy Chief Strategy Officer, VCCP Group, Jenny Nichols to Deputy Chief Strategy Officer and Lotte Jones to Deputy Head of Planning, both within VCCP in London.
The creation of the Deputy Chief Strategy Officer role at group level recognises the extraordinary impact Stefan Siedentopf has had across the business. Siedentopf has led multiple major global accounts while also working collaboratively across VCCP to build new capabilities and propositions which have been applied to brands such as easyJet and Canon, while helping secure major new wins including Barclays and British Gas. In his new role, Siedentopf will focus on driving continued strategic innovation across the group.
Jenny Nichols’ promotion to Deputy Chief Strategy Officer marks another significant milestone in a remarkable career trajectory at VCCP. Nichols has been at the heart of some of the agency’s most important and category-defining successes. After leading the strategy on VCCP’s founding client O2, she played a pivotal role in securing major accounts such as Virgin Media and Co-op and now leads the strategy for Cadbury globally. Known for her creative ambition, provocation and passion, Nichols will now focus on creating the conditions for planning to deliver breakthrough insights, new ways of working and different-shaped creative output.
Lotte Jones has been promoted to Deputy Head of Planning in recognition of her exceptional versatility, energy and creative impact. From being involved in successful pitches including The All England Lawn Tennis Club (Wimbledon) to leading campaigns including O2’s ‘Daisy vs Scammers’, Jones has consistently demonstrated her breadth and brilliance. Widely respected for her positivity, generosity and leadership, she will support VCCP’s Head of Planning Ross Cameron, who now takes sole leadership of the planning department.
These promotions reinforce VCCP’s ambition to continue leading the strategic planning agenda across the industry, ensuring the network remains at the forefront of creative, commercial and cultural impact for the world’s most ambitious brands.
Michael Lee, Group Chief Strategy Officer at VCCP, said: “Stefan, Jenny and Lotte each represent the very best of VCCP planning. Together, they set the standard for the kind of strategic excellence we believe drives the best work in the industry.”
The promotions follow a flurry of award wins and accolades for VCCP’s strategy department, including a silver Cannes Lions, an APG Grand Prix, as well as several wins across Effies, WARC, Marketing Week and Marketing Society.
