Five Minutes With Jenny Stanley and Sandra Wagner

October 2026

In a regular Q&A session, Jenny Stanley, Managing Director at Appetite Creative explores the key trends, around AI, full-funnel marketing and agentic workflows, facing experts from across the advertising and marketing industry.

This conversation is with Sandra Wagner, CEO at AuraVeo.

1: What is one achievement from your career that you are most proud of?

The achievement I’m most proud of is that people I worked with years ago still reach out to me from time to time, either to check in or to ask for help or guidance. And I know I can do the same with them, and I do. For me, that’s the biggest achievement of my career.

2: What are the questions you’re most often asked by clients?

“Is it working?” That’s the question I’m asked most. Once you’ve explained how it works and everyone understands it, the conversation then moves on to the second most common question: “What does that mean for my business?”

3: What one improvement or change would you like to see in the wider industry over the next 12 months?

I’d love to see people being really open to new things, rather than just saying, “That’s AI, we have to go into AI.” There are so many other things connected to AI that are evolving right now, with companies creating new products and new ideas. I’d love the industry to be open to discovering and exploring them too.

4: What legacy would you like to leave the industry?

It would be really fun if people said, “She brought packaging alive.” That would be awesome.

5: What is the one conversation, insight or moment from Cannes Lions this year that has stayed with you most?

I expected everyone to be talking about AI, and they did. But what really stood out, across many panels and meetings, was that everyone was talking about experience and customer engagement. It’s no longer about long customer journeys. It’s about connecting with the right audience at the right moment, and creating good experiences and engagement. That was everywhere, and it makes me feel really hopeful. That’s the biggest lesson I take from Cannes this year: we are on the right path.
