Assertive Yield announced a multi-year partnership with Trusted Media Brands (TMB), owner of properties such as Reader’s Digest, Taste of Home, Family Handyman, and The Pet Collective. TMB selected Assertive Yield over its previous solution to modernise its programmatic ad stack and unlock faster, more agile monetisation.

This engagement followed a partnership-first onboarding approach, where Assertive Yield’s team conducted a full infrastructure review and consultation to integrate with TMB’s existing setup while minimising engineering impact, as well as an in-depth Proof of Concept where the performance and integration were validated. Assertive Yield’s full suite of products (Yield Manager, Yield Intelligence, Prebid Server, and Traffic Shaping) was rolled out across TMB’s six-site portfolio.
The outcomes and benefits highlighted by TMB’s team include:
· Reduced engineering “speedbumps” and accelerated development cycles.
· Consolidated operations and improved Ad Operations’ agility.
· Continuous machine learning optimisations that drive measurable yield improvements and operational gains.
· Transition from vendor relationship to strategic partnerships with hands-on technical collaboration.
Nils Lind, CEO of Assertive Yield, said: “Publishers at TMB’s scale don’t swap infrastructure lightly. Most vendor relationships within our space are transactional – tech on a page, support ticket when it breaks. TMB ran the PoC, tested the integration, and made the call for something different. What they get on the other side: a stack that optimises continuously and a team that stays in the weeds with them”.
Stephen Irenski, Vice President of Ad Operations and Programmatic Strategy & Revenue at TMB, added: “Today, the marketplace is changing fast, and so our infrastructure needs to adapt accordingly. Onboarding Assertive Yield centralises a variety of operations under one umbrella while allowing the fluidity and adaptability to excel in the digital monetisation space.”
