BBH London is continuing to build its creative arsenal with a wave of hires; including two award-winning creative teams and a heavyweight creative director.

The new teams will report to ECD Felipe Serradourada Guimaraes, who since his promotion earlier this year and alongside CCO Alex Grieve, has been shaping the department and guiding the agency through a new period . This growth follows a period of significant creative momentum for the agency, with recent highlights including The Mentos Fizzooka, Tesco’s new brand platform, It’s not a little thing, it’s everything and F&F’s Style it Out created with Alex Prager and Burger King UK’s Not Made by Gordon.
Frances Leach joins as Creative Director from VCCP. A creative powerhouse, Leach brings a haul of industry accolades, including six Cannes Lions and seven D&AD pencils for standout campaigns such as Marmite’s ‘Baby Scan’, Temptations’ ‘Packattack’, and The Economist’s ‘Intellectual Property’. Before going solo in 2023, she spent over a decade at Adam&Eve DDB with her long-time creative partner Chris Bowsher.
Also joining are Gémina Gil Flores and Jemma Burgess, an award-winning duo united by name and shared creative vision and also known as The G/Jems. Arriving from McCann, they have a reputation for crafting unconventional campaigns that live in unexpected places. Their work includes the Xbox Adaptive Joystick, the impactful ‘#followedbycancer’ for Ovarian Cancer Action, and Sky Sports’ multi-award-winning ‘Keep Up.’
Completing the lineup are Ryan Delaney and Emma Thomas, who join from The&Partnership. The pair are known for shaping culture-shifting ideas for major UK brands, including a recent global platform for Airwaves gum. With previous stints at Grey London and Fallon, they’ve delivered everything from large-scale TV campaigns for Argos and Proper Chips to innovative activations for Skoda. The restless thinkers, who say they’re still chasing that one “perfect ad,” have picked up awards from Creative Circle to Cannes.
Felipe Serradourada Guimaraes, ECD BBH: “All roads lead to the work and Frances, Gémina, Jemma, Ryan, and Emma are more than brilliant creatives – they are a clear signal of the journey we are on as an agency. They join us at a pivotal time where we are making iconic work for clients. I can’t wait to see how they rip up the rulebook with their ideas.”
Frances: “Ever since I started in advertising I’ve wanted to work at BBH, and they’ve finally agreed to have me. I’m thrilled!”
The G/Jems: “We just want to make great ads. Like, fucking great ads. The kind everyone wishes they’d made. Every single ad BBH’s put out recently is exactly that, so joining Felipe’s department just made sense.”
Ryan and Emma: “People have always said we were black sheep, time to prove that was hopefully meant in a good way. We couldn’t be more excited to be at our dream agency, to be part of the brilliant department Felipe & Alex are building and make ‘that ad’.”
