CLARION APPOINTED AS RETAINED TRADE PR AND DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY FOR SCHOOL MEALS PROVIDER HCL

Clarion Communications has been appointed as the Trade and Digital PR agency for Hertfordshire Catering Limited (HCL), a contract caterer specialising in education. The partnership marks a pivotal step in HCL’s ambitious growth strategy within the UK foodservice sector.

Clarion will be supporting HCL’s mission to provide every child with access to healthy, nourishing meals that give them the foundations to grow, learn and achieve their potential.  This will include a strategic communications strategy blending digital storytelling and targeted trade PR and marketing to build trust and meaningful engagement amongst key decision makers.

Tasked with delivering both short and long-term impact, Clarion’s initial focus will be on driving brand awareness and commercial growth within the contract catering market for education.

The appointment comes as HCL sets its sights on an ambitious growth trajectory, aiming to expand its footprint and influence within the competitive education catering space.

Managing Partner Rebecca Wainwright comments: “We’re delighted to be partnering with HCL at such a critical moment in their growth journey. Our deep understanding of the foodservice channel, combined with a robust digital and trade PR strategy, will be instrumental in achieving significant results for HCL.”

HCL’s CEO John Want comments: “After an exhaustive search within the specialist foodservice marketing community, I’m delighted to have Clarion on board as our communications and PR partner. They showed a great knowledge of our sector and a clear understanding of how they could help us deliver our five year plan through effective market engagement. I can’t wait to get going with them!”

This new collaboration underscores Clarion’s continued strength in the foodservice sector and its commitment to supporting clients with integrated, results-driven campaigns including Bridor, DaVinci Gourmet, Kerrymaid, Lactalis, JDE Peets and Soreen to name but a few.
