Sam Pittman joins Butterfly Cannon from NB Studio as associate creative director, bringing 10 years of experience across branding, packaging and motion design for a variety of clients and sectors, from global spirits brands to major cultural institutions. Previous clients include; Veuve Clicquot, Ray-Ban, The Kraken Rum, Chivas Regal, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Petit Pli. His work has been recognised by the American Art Directors Club, D&AD, Design Week, Dieline and Drum Awards among others.
Commenting on his new role, Sam said “My belief in solving brands’ challenges through distinctive ideas with character in every detail, matches perfectly with Butterfly Cannon’s focus on building aspirational and sustainable brands with purpose. I can’t wait to get stuck into their growing roster of clients.”
Other Butterfly Cannon hires in the last 6 months include Zoe McGee as strategy director, joining from Nude Brand Creation and bringing a decade of experience in integrated and brand design agencies. Zoe is joined by Jess Hall as account director, with a wealth of prestige brand experience from her previous role at Denomination. Tomas Hill also joins the client services team, whilst graduate Ellie Philpott joins the design team.
