International digital out of home (DOOH) media platform Blindspot have hired music industry entrepreneurial innovator Seb Webber as Executive Creative Director.
Reporting directly into co-founders Matei Psatta and Bogdan Savonea, Seb’s role will be working with clients directly on Blindspot’s extensive inventory of DOOH spots across the US, UK, Europe and Asia. He will work in partnership with media buying teams for some of the world’s biggest brands and coolest startups with budgets of all shapes and sizes. As Executive Creative Director, Seb will leverage Blindspot’s innovative technology from a creative point of view to help craft tailored DOOH campaigns that maximize real-world impact.
Seb comments: “We are not just focussing on ‘the sell’ of the inventory, but are also committed to helping on ‘the tell’ of the campaigns. We spend a lot of time understanding the types of eyeballs that see our clients’ content, and educate ourselves on the correct runtime to create moments and maximum impact with our cutting edge technology.”
Bogdan Savonea, CEO & co-founder Blindspot adds: “Seb and I have the same mindset and values. So with his extensive innovation experience, his addition to the team is a no brainer.”
Seb has an impressive background in the music industry as Creative Director for Jay Z’s streaming platform TIDAL, and then went on to co-found Crowdsurge (now Songkick, owned by Warner Music Group). He has been featured on Forbes and Billboard magazine’s 30 under 30 and started the FMLY label together with Universal Music.
Seb’s role is effective immediately.
