McCANN expands into Manchester’s creative heart with ambitious growth plans

McCANN has landed in Manchester’s cultural quarter as part of its expansion into the city centre with a new growth hub. The move into their new Bonded Warehouse office space enhances McCANN’s offerings for clients, and sees the UK’s most creatively effective agency grow beyond their historic Bonis Hall site and into Manchester’s vibrant St John’s media district.

The move into Manchester’s city centre positions them closer to Manchester’s cultural heritage, better enabling them to grow with their clients and continue to attract diverse talent from across the North.

The move underscores McCANN’s place at the heart of the North’s creative industry and will enable McCANN to continue to deliver radically creative work and lasting impact. For over 100 years McCANN has been at the heart of culturally iconic moments, with their Manchester office delivering campaigns for some of the UK’s biggest brands. From Kevin the Carrot’s Christmas exploits for Aldi to Jammie Dodger’s return to TV after a decade away from our screens, McCANN is synonymous with delivering lasting impact for iconic brands, and they will continue to service their client relationships across both their current and new sites.

As the agency expands its footprint in Manchester, Bonis Hall will continue to serve as the agency’s beating heart, proving a campus for McCANN’s integrated creative, production and tech-powered innovation in Manchester. Bonis Hall will remain as the primary base for the agency’s key capabilities including the growing McCANN Content Studios, and allow McCANN to balance their city centre creative industry connection and growth opportunities with the unique space their clients love in Macclesfield.

McCANN is keeping their connections to TV close in their new move, with Bonded Warehouse located inside the Old Granda Studios and McCANN’s expansion into the heart of Manchester’s cultural quarter will also enable greater collaboration with clients and their sister Omnicom agencies.

McCANN Manchester’s senior leadership team will be located across both their Bonis Hall and Bonded Warehouse sites.
