Prophecy Unlimited, the CRM agency specialist in joined-up customer journeys, has completed its executive board line-up with the appointment of James Caig as Head of Strategy.
Caig’s hiring follows Prophecy Unlimited’s launch last year to create a Bristol-based agency of more than 200 people focused on insight, creativity, data and technology to help clients predict and pre-empt changes in customer behaviour.
As Head of Strategy, Caig will lead Prophecy Unlimited’s strategic teams across Planning, Insight, Analytics and Digital Performance. He joins Peter Brown, Prophecy Unlimited’s CEO, Beth Pope, Chief Client Officer, Matt Hardy, the Chief Technology Officer, Merry Scott Jones, Client & Change Director, Ian Bates, the Creative Director and Carrie Sewell, Finance Director, on the agency’s board.
Caig, previously the Head of Strategy at True Digital, is a well-respected figure in the agency planning community, and has a wealth of experience acquired in previous roles as Head of Strategy at Isobar, and Deputy Head of Strategy at MEC. He also sat on the committee for the Account Planning Group (APG), the industry body for planners, and is one of the founding members of APG West.
Peter Brown, CEO of Prophecy Unlimited said: “We’re really excited that James is joining us. He will be instrumental in shaping our agency offer for the future.”
James Caig said: “I’m delighted to be joining Prophecy Unlimited. As a young business with bags of experience and great clients it already has everything a modern agency needs: talent, ambition, and commitment. Both Prophecy and the wider Unlimited Group understand an agency’s role is to generate value for its clients while respecting the time and attention of its audiences. Marketing is facing some of its biggest challenges but it’s never been more exciting, and Prophecy’s offering reflects that brilliantly. I can’t wait to get started.”
Prophecy Unlimited was launched in May 2017 by Unlimited Group to create one of the largest agency offerings outside London. Clients include Toyota, Danone, Costa, and BMW, and since launching the agency has won the Barratt Developments CRM, digital, and creative account.
