Publicis Communications has announced that Cathryn Chen, current General Manager of Saatchi & Saatchi Guangzhou, will head all creative agencies under Publicis Communications in Guangzhou, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis Worldwide, and Leo Burnett.
In her new role, Chen will enable the access of creative agencies (Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis Worldwide and Leo Burnett) to specialist agencies, including digital communications specialist Nurun, strategic communications network MSLGROUP, and shopper marketing expert Arc in Guangzhou.
The move strengthens Publicis Groupe’s communications agencies’ ability to collaborate and extends their individual expertise to better serve the clients each agency represents. With robust horizontal capabilities, ranging from digital to communications and commerce, each agency will be able to provide clients with one-stop business solutions.
Each agency brand under the new arrangement, for example Publicis Worldwide or Saatchi & Saatchi, will keep its own culture and specific approach to creativity and services. They will also all continue to grow and expand as individual agencies.

Cathryn joined Saatchi & Saatchi Guangzhou in 2012 as Director of Client Service and was promoted to GM of Saatchi & Saatchi Guangzhou in 2013. Formerly General Manager of Ogilvy & Mather Guangzhou, she brings twenty years of experience in client service leadership.
