The award-winning social media agency, which specialises in B2C marketing services to travel, tourism and hospitality brands, will provide strategic social media and digital support to raise awareness of South Africa in the UK market. Ginger Juice will support South African Tourism’s over-arching global goal of driving five million additional tourists to the country within the next five years.
Ginger Juice will play a key role in launching South African Tourism’s trade-specific social media channels in 2018 as well as helping to manage and increase engagement across the tourism board’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube channels.
The social media strategy will continue to highlight core destination themes including the country’s incredible wildlife, breathtaking scenery and its warm and welcoming people. A key focus for 2018 will be the Nelson Mandela Centenary – a landmark programme of special initiatives, projects and events which will celebrate 100 years since the birth of the South African icon.
