The world of advertising has brought us some weird collabs over the last few years from Creme Egg mayonnaise to the infamous Weetabix and baked beans.
This latest combo might be the weirdest of the lot.
In what’s being dubbed “the world’s first quadruple collab” four brands with nothing in common have teamed up to create a unique Daft Punk-inspired advert.
The stunt features side-by-side adverts for viagra company Numan, online cheese retailer cheesegeek, high protein cereal company Surreal and popular gym Gymbox.
Put together, the four headlines read “Harder, Feta, breakFaster, Stronger” – a daft pun on the Daft Punk smash hit, Harder Better Faster Stronger.
The concept has gone down a storm on social media, being seen over a million times. One person said “I wish all advertising could be this creative” and another said “this is pure chaos and I love it”.
Gymbox’s marketing director, Rory McEntee said “It’s the quadruple collab no one asked for and several people tried to stop. Our members always push themselves to their limits, and as a brand we try to do the same”
Surreal co-founder Kit Gammell said “There’s a lot of stiff competition out there right now. You always worry about something like this flopping – I’ve had plenty of limp ones fall flat in my time – but thankfully it’s stood up strong.”
