Amsterdam’s Ogilvy Social.Lab has appointed a new Executive Creative Director, Tolga Büyükdoganay. The acclaimed creative leader has returned to the agency after working there successfully a Global Creative Director from 2015 to 2017.
Büyükdoganay will now be responsible for all of Ogilvy Social.Lab’s creative output for clients such as Philips, CenterParcs and ProRail.
Büyükdoganay is originally from Istanbul and has more than twenty years of experience in working on large, international campaigns as well as smaller-scale creative work and has had creative director roles at agencies in Germany, Austria, Turkey and of course the Netherlands.
The switch to Ogilvy Social.Lab came at the right time: “Everyone knows that this industry is in transition. Ogilvy Social.Lab understands this very well and embodies a perfect combination of creativity and effectiveness. I look forward to working with the team to co-create strong campaigns that make tangible impact.”
Heleen Heijt, managing director at Ogilvy Social.Lab: “With the return of Tolga, we have brought someone into our company with a clear, future minded vision on communication. He has shown his qualities at Ogilvy before and he brings both a fresh point of view as a ton of experience. Therefore, we are extremely happy that our creative team is once again complete with his arrival.”
Earlier this year, Ogilvy Amsterdam merged with Social.Lab, a company that has been incorporated since 2013. The integration was in line with the growth strategy of both companies. Ogilvy Social.Lab distinguishes itself by a strong combination of creative strength and strategic social expertise.
