Wavemaker, the new billion-dollar revenue, media, content and technology agency, has appointed Oleg Korenfeld as Global Chief Platforms Officer.
Based in New York, Oleg will develop and deploy Wavemaker’s platforms suite globally. He’ll work closely with GroupM’s global Platforms team and key clients and prospects to connect Wavemaker’s data and products to [m]Platform, turning audience and purchase journey opportunity into action on billions of screens around the globe. He reports to Global Chief Product Officer, Matthias Bruell.
Commenting on the appointment, Matthias Bruell said: “Acceleration and client adoption of [m]Platform is extremely important for the development of our future business, as is customising it to connect to our other agency products, specifically WM Momentum. Oleg’s in-depth knowledge and experience will help us speed up this process, to create success, value and growth for our clients everywhere, and we are incredibly happy to welcome him to Wavemaker.”

Oleg joins from Spark Foundry where he was EVP of Ad Tech, Platforms & Global Data, Technology and Innovation, managing all Programmatic, Data, AdOps, Advanced TV, Innovation and Platforms across the agency.
Prior to this, Oleg was SVP of Ad Tech & Platforms at Mediavest and has previously held strategic and operational positions at advertising technology innovation companies such as DoubleClick, Right Media and Jumptap, as well as new media publishers like Community Connect and Thrillist and traditional publishers like Hachette Filipacchi Media/Hearst.
