Havas Group Media has announced the appointment of Ailsa Buckley to the newly-created role of Deputy Managing Director as it seeks to further strengthen its leadership team.
Buckley joins from Wavemaker, where she was General Manager, leading the agency’s L’Oreal business with a focus on digital transformation, and heading up a number of key internal initiatives. She has 16 years’ experience in client-facing roles in agencies including MEC and Maxus.
In this new role, Buckley is tasked with delivering best-in-class client solutions, strengthening client relationships and leading multi-disciplinary teams. She will also have specific responsibility for Havas Group Media’s Hyundai and AXA accounts.
Buckley will report to Stephanie Marks, Managing Director at Havas Group Media.
The appointment is the latest in a series of senior hires for the Group, with other recent appointments including Carat’s John-Paul Cadman as Chief Planning Officer, and Starcom’s Marek Wrobel as Head of Media Futures.
