DUDE today announce that London CEO Francesca Spitali and London Executive Creative Director Curro Piqueras have been promoted to partners in DUDE London to work in alignment with the group’s central leadership team in Milan.
Francesca and Curro’s expertise and creative talents have been pivotal to DUDE‘s growth of the London office. Under their leadership the London agency has grown significantly, particularly in the past two years, earning the agency international recognition and establishing a strong presence in the UK market. They work with clients such as Trainline, PUMA, Lamborghini, Affinity, Campari and Activision Blizzard.
The new partnership means a unified vision and collaborative leadership for the agency resulting in continuity and stability for clients and people. The agency is also able to focus on driving innovation and new, enhanced offerings as DUDE evolves and expands.
Francesca Spitali, CEO & Partner, DUDE London said: “When Lorenzo and Davide asked me start-up DUDE in London, I thought it was a crazy idea. That’s why I said yes. I asked myself “What is the worst thing that can happen”, and came up with the answer that I could fail and have to leave. Despite Brexit and a global pandemic, I’m still here seven years later with an amazing team of 20, originating from 10 different countries. We have not only built solid relationships with our clients, but also have a strong and growing interest from the UK and international industry.”
Curro Piqueras, ECD & Partner, DUDE:London said: “Becoming the up-and-coming creative agency in the UK is a challenge that seems easier to achieve when you discover the incredibly talented DUDE:London team. Naming us partners in the London shop confirms DUDE’s intention to build a name in the UK.”
Lorenzo Del Bianco, CEO & Founder, DUDE said: “Honestly speaking, we’ve considered Francesca and Curro our partners since day one when they started to build DUDE London. Now they officially are, and I couldn’t be happier about that. I perfectly remember Francesca moving to London alone, trying to create something apparently impossible. Looking back now, she did something incredible. And Curro has been the perfect partner to achieve that. He was already a top class creative director when he decided to give a crazy twist to his career by betting on us. These guys are amazing, and so are all the team members. Keep an eye on them because they’ve only just started to dazzle you.”
DUDE London started in 2017 and grew at a steady pace until post-Covid growth showed exponential expansion enlarging the team to a head count of 20 by 2023. As well as major UK brands, the agency also works with international clients in a variety of markets such as Spain, Portugal and France.
The group’s central leadership team in Milan is formed of co-founders Davide Baldi, Lorenzo del Bianco, and creative partners Lorenzo Picchiotti and Livio Basoli. Francesca and Curro’s appointment is effective immediately.
