Advertising Agency Brandon Reenvisions Primal Pet Foods’ Website to Coincide with Brand Packaging Redesign

Integrated marketing agency Brandon has redesigned the website of Primal Pet Foods, a leading manufacturer of fully prepared, premium-quality raw foods, treats, and chews for dogs and cats. The agency recently launched the site to coincide with the debut of new packaging.

Brandon is leading Primal Pet Foods’ digital transformation and handling creative, production, analytics, SEO, and website maintenance. The agency developed a refreshed and visually engaging website that presents brand and product information in an easily accessible, understandable, and compelling manner. It won the assignment in April after a pitch.

“Brandon’s innovative, data-driven solutions connect our growing community,” said Robert Lirtzman, Primal Pet Foods senior brand manager. “The objective was to transition pet parents from brand familiarity to adoption of the products. The new site is visually engaging, packed with information, and easy to navigate and understand.” Visitors are expected to spend more time on the site and experience a deeper level of engagement.

Site sections include Why Feed Raw, Dog and Cat Products, Resources, Client Testimonials, and The Primal Standard. Two new subsections were added: Why Primal? and Ask the Experts.

The content hierarchy was designed to cater to both novice and experienced raw pet food consumers, Brandon’s Austin Scott, creative director, explained. “We revamped the website’s content to align with Primal’s new brand positioning, ‘Keep your pet in their prime with raw nutrition,’” he explained. “Visual design incorporates elements from the new packaging and features dynamic imagery of active pets and real, whole food ingredients, and we optimized product pages for better user experiences.” 

Primal Pet Foods currently uses the Shopify platform, but that could change as the company scales.
