Boston Bruins Defenseman Hampus Lindholm Joins Plymouth Rock Assurance as Brand Ambassador for 2023-24 NHL Season

Welcome to “Season 2” of The Bostonians from Plymouth Rock Assurance. While sports sponsorship TV campaigns frequently have “the baseball one,” “the hockey one,” and “the football one” separately, in a sports-crazy town like Boston, everyone is a fan of everything. So Plymouth Rock, working with their agency, HeyLet’sGo, decided to put every team under one roof in the “Bostonians,” explained agency Director/CCO Tim Cawley.

After a successful Season 1, the gang is back, this time featuring the Bruins’ Hampus Lindholm (one of the NHL’s leading vote-getters for the Norris Trophy for Best Defenseman) in his first advertising role. “Hampus is great on camera and a natural comedian. The ‘Roomies’ script was directly inspired by the fandom the agency’s biggest hockey fans had when they heard we’d be working with him”, added Cawley. 

The campaign will run on games and sports programming throughout New England during the Bruins, Pats and Sox seasons, with the Lindholm work launching this week, in conjunction with NHL pre-season.
