Dan Colley has joined VCCP’s retail division as Executive Creative Director. He will oversee the output of the agency, working with clients such as Shell, Canon, Domino’s, McArthurGlen and O2.
Colley joins from Cherry London where, as Executive Creative Director, his focus for the last year has included an award-winning loyalty program for online retailer N-Brown, as well as ground-breaking customer experience for Superdrug.
Prior to his role at Cherry London, Colley held senior creative leadership positions at a number of agencies, including JWT, DDB and ELVIS, where he was a founding Creative Director. Colley brings with him a wealth of experience from across some of the world’s favourite brands, including: Heineken, Shell, HSBC, and Virgin Media.
Kerry Bateman, CEO of VCCP Retail, said: “In the most challenging retail environments, our clients rely upon us to deliver profitable conversion. Only the most innovative and compelling creative ideas can achieve this without reverting to price. Dan is a proven champion of big ideas who will inspire our terrific creative team to scale new heights.”
On joining VCCP Retail, Dan Colley, commented: “This opportunity at VCCP Retail was too good to miss. The retail sector is an increasingly challenging environment and brands are having to readdress their approach and rethink the customer experience. And what better way to assist them than through an agency that behaves like a challenger brand.”
