WRG, the experience agency that is a division of The Creative Engagement Group, has hired two new design specialists to join its existing team.
Richard Hague and Oliver Webley will boost WRG’s creative department in Manchester.
Hague joins WRG as graphic designer from special projects graphic design and branding studio Hague & Hague which he co-founded in 2014. With more than 14 years design experience, Hague has worked with clothing brands Bench and Bernard Weatherill of Saville Row as well as tech company Cisco and real estate business Savills.
His most recent work includes the movie artwork for the soon-to-be cult classic low budget horror movie Polterheist, and the re-branding of Manchester-based sport and music agency ‘Ear to the Ground’.
Webley is a junior designer who graduated this year with a first-class degree from Staffordshire University. His portfolio beat off strong competition from a number of talented graduates to earn him the coveted WRG-internship. The WRG team was so impressed with his technical skills and design-talent that they were keen to take him on permanently.
Charlotte Smithson, creative director at WRG, said: “We are delighted to welcome Rick and Oli to our creative team. They’ll be kept on their toes. At WRG we don’t limit the creatives to specific channels or clients, this means that they’ll have the opportunity to work across our broad-range of clients and their designs will flex across multiple digital and print executions. Their addition to the team is in clear response to greater client demand, and is a move that will further strengthen our delivery of unforgettable design work.”
