Wunderman, the leading global digital agency and a WPP company, has hired Helen Lee as associate business development director.
Lee moves from a global associate director role at OMD Worldwide to head-up the running of Wunderman’s new business and marketing across the UK. She will report directly into William Rolt, UK & EMEA new business director.
Before OMD Worldwide, Lee was group new business manager at Publicis UK. Her new role at Wunderman UK starts with immediate effect.
Pip Hulbert, Wunderman UK CEO, said: “Helen’s proven track-record and strong ambition makes her an excellent fit for Wunderman UK, championing our capabilities as a leading global digital agency. As we continue to grow key accounts, it’s vital we have someone who can fuse business with marketing strategy to deliver results against our full-service offering.”
Helen Lee added: “Following their continued growth and recent successes, I’m incredibly proud to join the team at this time. I look forward to supporting the agency’s strategic development, as well as draw together its entire service offering for clients; everything from ecommerce to CRM, data strategy to creative and customer experience.”
Lee will be responsible for management of the agency’s external communications and new business activity, leading the end-to-end pitch process as well as working to further strengthen client relationships.
Wunderman UK’s new business team won the Oystercatchers Best Agency RFI award 2017, having clinched several high-profile deals, including the BT-EE consolidated account, BT Group and Samsung. Most recently, they celebrated landing a spot on Shell’s global Agency of the Future roster.
Last year saw the consolidation of Wunderman’s UK portfolio (Salmon/Wunderman Commerce, Acceleration, POSSIBLE, Burrows and Cognifide), bringing the business’ full-service capability under one roof.
