Newton Gin heralds from Sunny Somerset, distilled bottled and labelled on the grounds of the lovingly restored Newton House.
The brief to branding experts Design Happy, was to really give the gin a sense of place and history to increase appeal to gin lovers, bar owners and retail buyers alike, whilst ensuring the gins unique and handcrafted qualities were amplified.
The details of the house really stood out and during the design house’s research they discovered a stunning decorative ceiling created in the 1800s. Using this as inspiration they created a double layered emboss of this pattern to envelope the branding, they also developed an iconic illustration of the house and created clean and simply crafted branding to increase shelf appeal.
