At Money20/20 Las Vegas, Elliptic, the global leader in digital asset decisioning, partnered with marketing consultancy Rival to launch “Lost Wallets,” an activation designed to drive awareness and engagement in a dense fintech conference environment.
The idea centered on placing hundreds of branded wallets in high-traffic areas around the conference, including the entrance to the official luncheon and adjacent public spaces within the venue. Attendees encountered the wallets organically as they moved through the event. Each wallet contained a QR code that directed people to Elliptic’s landing page, connecting the physical experience to Elliptic’s platform.
The activation aligned with Elliptic’s “Tomorrow’s Advantage” brand platform, using a familiar real-world object to introduce conversations around stablecoins, digital assets, and trust in emerging financial systems. The wallets functioned as both an attention device and a navigation tool, guiding attendees directly into Elliptic’s product ecosystem.

Content capture played a central role in extending the work beyond the floor. Rival filmed attendee reactions during the luncheon and staged additional wallet discoveries throughout the hotel to broaden the perceived footprint of the activation. A 15-second teaser video published during the event supported real-time social sharing, followed by a longer case study video released after the conference.
Out-of-home creative expanded the message across Las Vegas placements, featuring tag lines including “Viva Las Stablecoin,” “Tomorrow arrived early,” and “Confidence is the new currency.” Production remained intentionally lean, with a small crew handling filming, editing, and deployment on an accelerated timeline.
The activation generated strong organic sharing from conference attendees, with social posts highlighting the wallets as a standout moment from the event. Following the conference, Elliptic requested versions of the assets without event-specific language for continued use. Regional teams also identified the concept as adaptable for future fintech events in other markets.
