The FAB Awards provided a bit of much needed cheer this week with the 22nd Edition of their Awards streamed “online” due to the Covid situation.
The beautiful and exclusive Hurlingham Club in London was swapped for a “virtual” Awards Presentation streamed exclusively on YouTube in honour of the Finalists and Winners of The 22nd FAB Awards! FAB extended and open invitation to the entire Marketing Communications Industry globally to view the show.
Successful design, creative and effective work was showcased to the viewers at the show, and winning projects were announced – be it a Grand Prix (FABulous), a Gold (FAB) or a Silver Award.
The recipients of the best in show ( FABulous Award ) on the night, were as follows:

INGO Stocholm wins Agency of The Year Award Sponsored by YouTube
INGO Stockholm took home The Agency of The Year Award for the first time. It ended a three year running streak of BBDO New York, who finished second on the Points Table, followed closely by Cossette Canada and AMV BBDO London. INGO’s projects for Moldy Whopper and Coca Cola Zero took home 4 x FAB Golds and 2 x FABulous Grand Prix’s on the night.
Burger King Win YouTube FAB Brand/Marketer of the Year Award
Much of Burger Kings‘ success came from The Moldy Whopper Project that had FAB Gold wins in TV & Cinema, Posters & OOH, Press & Print and Integrated and 2 x FABulous ( Best in Show ) which won them The YouTube FAB Brand/Marketer of the Year honour.
The food giant, dethroned MARS Inc. who had won this title four-times before (including last year) since its introduction in 2013, took home an impressive tally of six FAB Awards on the night.
Fernando Machado, Global CMO of Burger King, said: ““We are honoured with the recognition of Marketer of the Year at the FAB awards.This is a very prestigious award. It means a lot to win with an initiative which aims to make our food better. We believe real food tastes better and that’s why we are focused on removing artificial ingredients from all our food items globally.”
Pearlfisher Bag FAB Design Agency of the Year Award
Design experts Pearlfisher, were named the FAB Design Agency of the Year, taking home two silvers and three FAB Gold Awards and a FABulous ( Best in Show ) on the night.
The FAB Awards also revealed the full suite of their New brand Identity by leading Design Consultancy William Murray Hamm and also revealed their brand new Awards Trophies made out of recycled materials.
