Madison Media is India’s only major Advertising player that is still Independent.
Economic Times India reports that Madison’s owner – Sam Balsara might be negotiating a sale with either WPP or Dentsu.
Madison Media is today the largest independent media agency in the Indian marketing communications space, with 11.2% market share, handling advertising volumes worth $630 million, according to 2011 figures from RECMA, an international research company that evaluates media agencies worldwide. Its clients include Cadbury, Airtel and General Motors.
