Media iQ, the leading global analytics and technology company, announces the appointment of Nicola Young (née Thomson) as Vice President of Marketing EMEA. She joins having previously held the Director of Media position at Estée Lauder Companies (UK&I) and prior to this, she was Group Director of Marketing at Global Radio.
In her new role, Nicola will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy for Media iQ across the key EMEA regions. She will play a pivotal role in helping Media iQ reposition itself as a company which combines human ingenuity with marketing intelligence data, to help businesses thrive. This the latest in a number of recent hires from the Chief Marketing Officer at Media iQ, Rebecca Mahony, as she continues to build a world-class team of marketers.
Nicola has a commendable track record in senior leadership roles. Most recently, she held the Director of Media role at Estée Lauder Companies (UK&I) where she acted as a strategic conduit working across the entire portfolio of brands such as Clinique, MAC, Jo Malone and Tom Ford.
At Global Radio, and within the first four months of her role there, Nicola had executed the first TV commercial for LBC in six years, which won an award at The Radio Academy Awards. Some of her other marketing accolades include being accredited in 2015’s ‘Vision 100’ which recognises the top 100 marketers in the UK and twice being awarded the top marketing prize in the media category at the Marketing Week Effectiveness Awards for both Jazz FM and Magic 105.4.
Nicola has held the Vice President of Marketing role at Miroma Group and also acted as an independent marketing consultant, working for the likes of Lawn Tennis Association and Park Publishing.
