Volkswagen takes advantage of YouTube’s own technology in this video project by Almap BBDO, designed to highlight the car’s “side assist” feature for sensing objects in your blind spot.
In the web film, a man invites you to see how good it would be if the future was predictable, by placing your mouse on YouTube’s “play bar” at the point he specifies.
This reveals a “hidden frame” in which a biker is seen falling through the air. As the film carries on, we see the biker from the frame fall right next to our man and walk off dusting his jacket.
