Ziggurat, Greene King’s long-term strategic brand partner, has rebranded its flagship beer, Greene King IPA, the nation’s favourite IPA.
The new branding is a confident change, going back to the brands original roots. First brewed in 1928, the new identity celebrates the partnership of the pioneering founders Benjamin Greene and Frederick King.
Brett Goldhawk, Managing Partner at Ziggurat says, “This sessionable IPA is a perfect pint for the good times we share together. Our design intention was to reflect the heritage of the brand but to be more confident and bolder in our approach so that it stands out from the crowd and better reflects the refreshing and hoppy taste of the beer.”
Brett goes on to say “In the on-trade, we’ve used the very best materials to reflect the quality of the beer and introduced an innovative new top-nut on the pump handle, that will sit proudly above the competition. In the off-trade, the new cans are strikingly bold and differentiated from the competition and a new bottle structure will be introduced in the coming months.”
Emma Hibbert, Marketing Controller, Greene King IPA, “Ziggurat Brands has taken the brief and delivered just what we asked for, a fresh new design that is modern and forward looking, but also celebrates the unique heritage of the company. Ziggurat really took the time to understand our brand before starting the creative and we are thrilled with the results.”
